I don't think AI extinction is worth losing sleep over. I sat with the argument that something smarter than us won't be kind, so it kills us, and kindness was never what kept us alive. Steerability is built in on purpose, and agency is more of a magic trick than a law. The worry I actually have is different, so watch it on YouTube.
